since you have a '97, you could get an oem front lip (a.k.a. chin spoiler) for about $100 shipped, get yourself a factory spoiler for like $200-$300, and then spend the left over money painting the lip and the sideskirts to match it....that is, if you're interested in appearance mods

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, keep them coming.
The springs and shocks combination is sounding more and more appealing. So help a newbie out here, we've got springs and shocks and then we've got coilovers? I'm a bit fuzzy on what works with what. Coilovers from Ground Control allow for on the spot adjusting of your height I know that much.
As far as the OEM lip goes, does anyone have pics of that. I also like that idea a good deal. Anyone have any other pics of some good front and rear lips?
Oh and btw, RiceBurningVTEC you've got an awesome looking ride. Props to you.

For the front and rear lips, you could go to www.autodynamic.com for pics of them. It seems that they have it there for a pretty good price. Another route is to get an exhaust, but that would blow the entire 500 on just that mod alone.

Also seeing that you have 110k miles on your ride, have you thought about a new set of performance brake rotors and pads? That is if you haven't replaced them already.

I'd get

Neuspeed Sports- $110

Iceman CAI- $120

Front Lip painted- $200

Neuspeed strut Bar- $75

those are about the prices I paid, but then again I'm a bargain hunter.

if he doesnt keep up with regular maintenance, thats what id spend my money on. i.e., timing belt, water pump, cap& rotor, spark plugs, brakes, etc.
why spend 500 on suspension if the timing belt is about to snap?:ugh:

Thanks for all your help guys. So far all the comments and suggestions have been very helpful. The car' had its full check up when I bought it, new timing belt and everything, all the necessities replaced. Oil has also been changed.
So now that I'm somewhat set on the idea of shocks and coilovers, mind if I ask another question?
What kind of sound systems do you guys have in your rides? And how much did it cost to do it? I figure it was sound system or suspension for my money so I'd like all the input I can get.

AGX and Tokicos for shocks. I would recommend Koni, but they run about 500 just for shocks.
