Default Budget Buildup

I have ... lets say around $4000-5000 to dump into my civic ... its a shitty SOHC non vtec so im guessing a swap is necessary ... im wondering what to get for the most bang for my buck... im thinking JDM b16a2 + turbo? is that enough money for that? what other options can yield good bang for the buck ... i would opt for nos but i hear its quite a hole in ur pocket to keep tanks full..
with the turbo what else would i need.. turbo cams?, better internals? (<= doubtful on this budget ) bigger injectors? better ignition system? please help me out, i want to build a fast car

formula for a sick car is
1 civic+B18C1+turbo kit
you could do minimal mods and run it at 5-7 psi
thats what id do

for that much i would do a b18c1 swap
then throw on your boltons and regualar engine maintenance and you will be around the 4000-5000 range

i dont really enjoy the b16's to much but thats me

i'm thinking about the b16a1 and i didn't see spending another $1000 or so on 18 hp. plus isn't the b18c1 heavier then the b16's?

the weight is negligable, it is not 100lbs, where would the extra weight come from?
anyways you asked for opinions, drive both motors and see if the difference is worth the more money......also especially for a jdm one they should not be $1000 price difference

yeah the motorshop sites ive been looking at include tranny and everything else... hmm d16y7 turbo? well... i want something that i can eventually build up to 300hp and the d16y7 isnt capable of that (is it? :dunno: )

hmm b18b... well the only concern i have with this is that it isnt capable of as much power as the b16a2 or the b18c1... because in the future i plan to put more money into the engine that i plan to build but since the b16a2 and b18c1 are pretty close in power output i will take either one depending on which one can provide me the most bang for my buck up front with my budget...
