okay i did a search here, it wasnt too productive...

i wanna do the rear disk conv. but i dont know what i need other than the obvious rotors/calipers.... i found the AEM kit but its 1100 bucks *whaaaaaat*

any help on what to get and where to get it is appreciated!

there are plenty of searchable threads about this. I know, i have answered it many many times, and used the search feature to find threads and posted the link because i was too lazy to do it.

expand your search to the hybrid AND the civic forum, for as far back as possible. there are at LEAST 3 good threads explaining everythign you could ever want to know. If you have any SPECIFICquestions, feel free to PM me.

aahhh thank god my hatch has them on, i think it looks tight on a civic coupe, i hate that drum brake look, its kinda :ghey:

 

all you need for a rear disk brake conversion.


are the trailing arms
the hub that's connected to the trailing arm and it holds the disks

you'll need the calipers also.

um... brakes lines (i'd buy the aftermarket steel one)
and the emergency brake cables.

also since you have that **** out.
i would also buy the suspension kit where you replace the bushings with the urethane ones, the rubber crap sucks. i'd def replace all that rubber crap. it's pretty easy to get it done through a machine shop and it shouldn't be that expensive either.
