Well... there's no damage to the bumper...
The other bad news:

I am signed up to show my car at a company booth this Saturday. I was expecting to receive the new lip today but they sent it from CA TODAY. So that's out of the question.

I'm on a manhunt for a CF lip now! None of the shops I know have one in stock, not even the cheap fake-o CF lips.
find a stock ex coupe lip and paint it at maaco for temporary purposes perhaps?

Maxboost, sorry to hear about that man! Isn't this like the 3rd time they've tried to jack your car this year? I hope you catch them.

hey if ya afraid that they will take off ya bolts again do what i did to a buddys. Get ya some lock lugs to bolt ya stuff on then tig weld some razor blades around them. Make sure you apply some baby oil on it after ya got it on. I think we used Gorilla lugs on his. Gotta have a key to take them off. We come out from the mall every once in awile an see blood all over his front bumper. It makes us frickin giddy like a bunch o school girls.

My friend went to columbia in NYC and lived in manhattan and they would always break into his POS 80's model trooper (which he loved BTW) and so one night he pulle dthe seatcovers off and slapped a motorcycle battery under the seta with the terminal wires running up to the seat. Well he left it there for week like that and finally he gets called down because his car wa sbroken into and tghere is two huge burn marks in the seat where someone sat after they busted the window out. Pretty sweet I thought. Imagine the look.

Hahah, That would be funny... but I don't know if I want to burn my seats That is pretty insane.

I heard of people with TL's doing that for behind their headlights. That's really effective, yet gross at the same time. I don't want any thief blood all over my car. And one day that I work on my car and forget that I have blades back there, *SPLAT*

I got a CF lip for the show, it's the "Type R" Style that I'll just use for the day, special thanks to FULL THROTTLE PARTS & PERFORMANCE for coming through.

:goodjob: Glad you were able to find a lip in time.

When things used to get stolen off my car I used to have all kinds of elaborate ideas that included fish hooks, razor blades, and "complete-the-circuit-please" wires connected to batteries... Kind of entertaining to hear that some people have actually been successful
