i have been having a heated ongoing debate with a couple of my friends who drive mucsle cars...and they say that "there is no naturally asperated (non-turbo/non0supercharged) 4 cylinder that can beat an 8 cylinder..please i need help winning this one...i need to know some of the fastest 4 cylinders in the world that arent turbo'd or sc'd...4WD is ok...thanks alot

there are some 10 second NA crxs ive seen in mags and some EG hatches too, one i've seen that has like 13+ compression, thats how they get their power, it was an orange hatch, cant remember who though

Sorry man, you can't win that one. They will have too many arguments up their sleeves. If you built two motors equally, one 4 and one 8, the bigger one would win. The only way 4 cyls win against v8s is because they have just worked harder on their motors. If the v8 had the same amount of work put into it, the poor little 4 cyls wouldn't have a chance. I own both types of cars, and the stock Corvette would stomp both my Civic and GSR.

Guys, you can't use a Mustang as an example... they suck! The old ones are cool, but the technology is outdated.
