Default rev limiter

i want t take out my rev limiter. i have the msd bok wth the rpm pill. can i take it out of my stock ecu myself or do i have t buy a chip or something? thanks

u need to chip your ecu. why would u want to take off your rev limiter?

maybe raise your rev limiter but what is the point in taking it off completely??? Let's say your peddle gets stuck under the floor matt...(twice)....and your shit just flies up to 13000 rpm and starts shooting holes in your block...plus a car stops making power after a certain rpm depending on setup...

i have a 8000 rpm pill in my msd box. my motor is built to rev high.

so just chip it to raise your rev limiter...dont make it have no ceiling...all you will do is end up damaging your shiz

what do you have done to the head, bottom end, valve train that you wanna rev so high in the first place...just because you can doesnt mean you should...

i have a fully worked head valve springs, cam,port n polish,built bottom end je pistons eagle rods, running the greddy turbo kit 15 psi.

Don't remove it, just raise it. These guys know what they are talking about, you don't want a blown motor.
