Default Tires.

Ok I just orderes some slipstreams on tuesday so I should get them by next week. Im still learning but I have no clue to what goes on with tires? . I was wondering if you guys can help me out with things like tred, size, whats better for what things, etc. You know things like that. Id really appreciate it.:thumbup:

the rims?? thats the thing, I dont know. The only thing I know is that theyre 16's, 4lug. But thats about it. Id really appreciate your help.

Need more info, but they are probably 16x7 or 6.5. On my old 16's i had 205/45 and 205/40. Both were good sizes, but 45 seemed to rub more.

Thats what I mean. I dont get what 205/45 and 205/40 means?? I dont know anything and I mean "ANYTHING" about tires.

for sake of round numbers...lets say you have 16 inch rims....the tires you get might be 205/40/16. the first of the three numbers (205) is hoe many millimeters wide the tire is....the second number (40) is the percent of the width that is the side wall...so...take 40% of 205...and thats how many millimeters tall your side wal is...and finally the last number (16)....is rim size. congratulations you just passed tire 101.

You got 16x7 rims.

You got them from....me :thumbup:

The "correct" plus sizing for 16's on your car would be 205/40/16, but usually people run 205/45/16 just to have a little more sidewall
