good, hope they look nice

 

Well i got the wheels and tires put on yesterday. They reall look nice. I really like the way that they fill out the wheel well. The bad thing is that my stock wheels and tires weighed 35lbs and my new ones weigh 42lbs . So much for saving any weight. But the car does not feel any slower then before by my seat of the pants calculations. Plus to make it an even better day i got a call from a friend of mine that is down at school(ISU) and he had just signed the papers on a 98 civic ex coupe. So yet another is joining the converted and he asked me and my friend orlando to be kinda like his car godfather(I kinda feel like brando) and to keep the car running. And by the way i know I am a huge dork for making the godfather comment but i could not help my self.

holy crap, you got 20 inch chromed rims for your civic?

 

It is only an additional seven pounds per corner. I measured both wieghts (the 35 and 42 ) as wheel and tire. I would have died if the rims them self weighed 42 lbs. At least it only cost me ten bucks to get them put on(my friend works at a mercedes dealership)
