K, i just want to get this straight before i go spending over 300 dollars. I have a 97 civic dx, and i have 4 shocks--right? or is it 2 shocks, 2 struts. thanks

You have 4.
They are reffered to as shocks or struts.

no, because i know that a shock is different from a strut. so i'm making sure i have 4 shocks not 4 struts. because i have a double wishbone suspension-correct?

struts sit inside of springs. You have struts - 4 of them.
