I'm not sure. whatever the stock size is. I was actually going to put it on ebay friday(TB, intake,Head). But if your interested just let me know. I am also willing to trade. Just let me know what u got.
just curious what the stock TB size is, kinda wondering if its identical to the LS one... Just idle curiosity. I'm trying to plan a b20 swap of my own, but I'm painfully broke.
Originally posted by vtecfed are the b20b and LS rods the same size? this is considered the stroke right?
I'm not sure exactly what you meant by this, just noticed it reading it again... Rod length isn't the same as stroke, necessarily.. Stroke is the distance between the highest and lowest points of a piston's travel, but engines with the same rod length can have different stroke, depending on the crank... like if you have an XXmm rod and a crank with the rod bearings offset from center by 40mm, you'd have 80mm stroke, but if you had an XXmm rod and a crank with the rod bearings offset by 44mm, youd have an 88mm stroke.. This occurs independently from the rod length (although engines with a longer stroke tend to have longer rods because the rod needs to reach farther to keep in the piston in the cylinder). But the long way around the question is: since they share the same crank and rods, yes, they both have the same stroke.
Sorry if I just answered a question you never asked h:
