Default OK Two questions.....

Heres the 1st issue.... Only sometimes... usually when I am cruisin along I step on the gas and the motor hesitates... like it feels as if its not giving its all. Pedal is floored but it's not speeding up as fast as it should be. And it doesn't happen all the time.

2nd issue.. and this is only when my windows are closed I hear alot of air (well it sounds like air) rushing near my driver side dashboard... obviously it happens more when as the rpm's climb higher. Low rpms I don't here it. And it's not the intake....

FYI again.... b18c in 99 civic ex with obd1 p72 ecu. Please help!

We just swapped a B16 into my friends 97 hatch and his kinda does the same thing. Youd think with all that power it would just pick right up.

What mods do you have done to your car? engine wise

did you change out your fuel line when you did your swap? maybe that could be the problem, not getting enough fuel. I know that the GSR/Si/Type R fuel pumps are bigger than EX.

Are they??? Thats what I was wondering.. and I'm thinkin that may be the problem. Thats what it feels like... not enough fuel getting to the engine fast enough.

Good deal. Thats what my friends problem was with his, he had his DX fuel line from the filter going to his b16 rail.

If i were you, id look at a junkyard or ebay or something and try and find a GSR/Si/Type R fuel pump, i think they pump like 175lph, which is alot more than EX or DX pumps.

found this one99-00 civic Si fuel pump
