you should change the fuel pump and fuel line.

OK... this an easy thing to do myself? Or not necessarily easy, but is it something I can do myself. I just did the alternator, so in comparison to that?

take out back seat, take out screws, take out pump, change pump, do reverse.

easy?

Sounds like a cake walk to me. And smoke cigs heavily during the entire process.. right?

Since you have a GSR engine, id get a GSR fuel pump. Heres one with 1 day left.97 GSR fuel pump

I had the same problem with the hesitation, but it was fixed when I changed the fuel line from the filter to the rail.

I do now have a BBK/Walbro fuel pump (255lph) and that helped out a lot too.

Which should I do? Aftermarket? Or stock SI? And whats the approximate going price for either?

The Walboro ones ive seen go for around 100 bucks. Ive just seen people replace there stock ones with GSR or Si ones becaue its cheaper and fixes the problem.
