Default Need Assistance

Ok, here is the story.
As most of you have seen, I put on 16" rims and tires 205/45.
When the shop installed it, I called them b/c the steering wheel was vibrating whenever I went over 60mph. It turned out that they accidently stripped one of the studs. So they I ran with 3 out of 4 lugs for 2 weeks while they ordered a new stud. While running on 3 lugs, the vibration went away and the ride was great. So we were thinking that the 4th bad lug didn't set the wheel right. 2 weeks later, the stud is replaced and I have all 4 lugs again, (pass front btw). Guess what, the vibration is back sporadically. Kind of annoying! I was thinking if I took off the rim and hand set and criss cross pattern tightening may help. If it doesn't ...... any suggestions?????

any help or ideas are appreciated.

I don't know what wheels those are, but it sounds like you need hubcentric rings.

well, the shop did install some sort of plastic ring before they put on the rims. Is that a hubcentric ring?

i had the shop check the balance and it was within specs. So I guess I'll try remounting them and if that doesn't work I'll get the alignment. PS what is the avg rate for a front end alignment?
