Default compression and stuff

Does anyone know what the compression should be on a B16A with JE "Blower" pistons. This is in a 2000 civic si. All four cylinders are showing 125psi. This sees to be a bit low. The motor is not sleeved and has gapless rings in it. Any ideas?

Name stealer!!! h:

Anyways, are you sure you are performing the test correctly? ECU fuse out, throttle held wide open? Gauge is tightened all the way down?

The ecu isn't controlling the engine anymore...that is left up to an eletromotive TEC3. The TEC3 was disabled but the throttle was not wide open. The tester was seated fully.

Hold the throttle wide open, and do the test over.

Either those are incorrect numbers or else you get to pull a head! Yay!

My JE/SRP 9.5:1 put out 187psi in all cylinders.

the compression is 8.3:1 to be more turbo friendly and allow for high boost levels so I would assume that this would also mean that the reading would be lower but I am not sure how much.
