Default H&R SPrings HELP!!!!

Alright, this will be my first post on Honda-Acura.net hooray! Well im going to lower my car, I want a nice ride with good handling, best bang for my buck. I have heard a lot about the H&R Springs + KYB AGXs Combo. I found some brand new H&R Sports for $150 Shipped. They advertise that it will be 1.75" on the front, and 1.50" on the rear. Does anyone have these kind of springs on their car? Is it low enough to satifiy you? Am I Paying too much for these? If so where can I get them Cheaper? Now about the KYB Agx's , they have them for $300 shipped, I am currently still in high school, (one more year left !!!) I do not have much money to spend on my car right now (94' Honda Civic EX Coupe) so I am wondering if these shocks are worth the money and if there is any other kind of shocks out there that can rival KYB AGX's for cheaper than $300. I also would like to know if it is safe for my OEM Shocks/Struts to be used with after market springs (H&R Sports). Any comment would be gladly appreciated, Thanx A lot for taking your time to read this. Even tho this is my first post, I have been reading the threads on this forum for a while now, I mostly i just need to know if the springs are low enough.

P.S. I would probably plan on getting a mugen lip for my front so if this is too low or not low enough, please let me know.

Thanx A lot For Your Inputs!!

165EJ1 you're a noob too. registered last month. :slap:

anyway.. i had kyb agx's on my civic (r.i.p. :wtc: ) and i liked em a lot. so much that i bought another set for my integra. i got mine for $330 shipped from cox import (one of our sponsors). i had eibach pro kit springs on my civic, but i went with H&R sports for my teg. $132+shipping from adventon.com. i havent installed my new stuff on my teg yet for time reasons but a lot of teggy owners have this setup and are very happy. keep in mind, lowering more than 1.5" on kyb agx will void the warranty. overall i was very happy with my agx/pro kit setup, but just wanted to be a little lower. hence the H&R sports. good luck man and welcome :wavey:

My girlfirend has the H&R Race (2.25' drop) with a Mugen lip.... she has no problems at all.... she is using my SiR shocks wich are good enough.... I got KYB AGX and they are good for the money and are perfect when they are mated with the H&R Race.

Personally I think the H&R Race are the perfect drop for a daily driver... I would'nt want to be any higher.

That is the exact setup I have currently. H&R Sport's with KYB AGX's. The drop is PERFECT for me. It's exactly where I want it.

I am running 17" wheels and have an extremely low lip, so if you run a low lip, driving cautiously is a given.

$150 is an average price. Expect to pay $350+ for the AGX's.
