The HX is the newest in a line of fuel-savers. First was the CRX HF, then came the Civic VX, and now the Civic HX.

I thought the HX was like the VX it didn't come in auto. B/C Auto doesn't equal gas effecient??

the HX comes in a 5speed manual b/c one of my good friends has, or should i say had one, til he swapped it out for a turbo b18b.

Its not a two speed it is a CVT(continiously variable transmission) .

the HX is the VX of the 6th gen civic's no it did not come in hatchback liek the vx but had less sound dampening and had a e-vtec engine, only came in 5-speed and had no bells or whistles
