Coilover Poll......
the tein flex is a better system.. hence the higher price... its all about what you want them for... flex is for a little more serious racer than the SS and the SS over the basics... i've chosen the SS for that reason...
I've heard a lot of good things about the Flexs. If you do decide to get them we get 5% off @ tornactive.com...they aren't badly priced. They also have the Tokico coilover for sale there as well.

For a better matching spring rate I should have gone with the Koni only Ground Controls....So the spring rate matched..........
Or do you think they will still out perform using this set?

GC sells any spring rate you could possibly want. All you have to do is call and ask.

no they wont.... a full matched damper is better than any coilover/shock combo slop around setup out there.. street and track

The special editions are really, really soft. More for slamming the car on coilovers than anything else.

There really isn't much difference if you use shocks with adjustable dampening.

sure there is.. even with gc mated with koni you have loose spring play in the rear when hitting a bump or what not.. when you lift the car the wheel drops and the spring is all loose.. with a damper such as tein.. it catches and the shock doesnt go all out leaving the spring /w play

i've got custom spring rate ground control and koni's. great combination, but if you wanna go low and have stiff spring, you need to look into shortening and revalving the shocks for your spring rates.
Once I get my Koni's shortened and revalved for my spring rates, I couldn't think of anything more I'd want from my setup.
Truchoice also makes coilover kits using the Koni, GC method with custom spring rates and revalving already done. More money depending on what level you choose to go with.
