sure there is.. even with gc mated with koni you have loose spring play in the rear when hitting a bump or what not.. when you lift the car the wheel drops and the spring is all loose.. with a damper such as tein.. it catches and the shock doesnt go all out leaving the spring /w play
If you're hitting bumps large enough to let the spring drop you should be buying something intended for rally.
