I used to use Mobil 1 oil and filters but the price was killing me because I change my oil so often. My new B16A is using fram filters and Castrol GTX every 2,000 miles. I use the fram because of the sure grip So, I should probably go with OEM then huh? You can get OEM filters by the case for fairly cheap. Thanks for the info, I had never heard anything bad about the Fram filters. What about bosch filters? Have you guys seen that you thing fram sells, it's a fitting that goes in the drain plug hole and it comes with a hose that attaches so you can direct the oil flow when you are changing it. I use it on my Maxima because the drain plug points towards the tire and it's a pain in teh ass to get my oil container under it. Also, it's windy as hell everytime I change my oil so the oil stream blows all over the place. does anyone else have that problem?

Check out these sites, which discuss the merits of various filters:

Personally, I use OEM filters.
