Default realistic weight reduction

To start out I have a 97 ex five speed coupe. It is my daily driver(actualy my only driver/car) and would like to still be able to drive with more then just myself and a passenger(no removing rear seat). So what can i do to shed some weight (besides eating less Mcdonalds). I have heard of taking out the spare tire ,but will the can of tire goo that I have save me if I have a flat tire? What else can I do? I would appreciate any help you can give me.

spoons with low profiles, (do spoon come in 16"?) will save you another 30 lbs over rota, if youre down with the cost.

Yeah, spoons come in 16" ($485 a pop, though). Get light wheels, they say for every pound lighter your wheel is, its like your car being 5 lbs lighter (somebody actually figured that one out I guess).

Reallistically, it all depends on what your willing to do away with, you could take off your power steering pump, remove door/interior panels, pull up the carpet, get non-power mirrors/windows, go under the car and chisel off all that sound deadening gunk underneath, of course if you did all that your car would be faster, but much worse for impressing the skirts.
