brake bleeding issues!!!!
hey everyone,
i just did a GSR brake swap to my EK... i used the same EK proportioning valve, and the GSR ABS brake booster + master cyclinder. i reflared one of the lines so it can fit the master cyclinder. when i tried to bleed the lines, i kept on getting a mushy feeling. if i'm braking, the car begins to stop only when the pedal is at the lowest point.
what could be the problem and what are some points I can check???
thanks!!!!

are you getting air in where you flared the line? put some brake fluid on the line and look for bubbles
i'd buy a bench bleeding kit and bleed at master cylinder and then at the wheels also.

i'd reflare if that happens. if you are getting air from there you should be able to see bubbles cause well air's going in
get a bench bleeding kit from some auto store its' worth it

okay, i just checked it all out and the lines are not leaking. if i repeatedly press on the brakes, the pedal will feel very stiff... however, once i let the pedal go for awhile and press down on it again the pedal feels soft again.
everytime i press on the pedal, i can hear a swooshing noise from the brake booster.. is that a faulty seal or just a faulty brake booster..
thanks!!!!

it might be a faulty brake booster or MC. did you get it used or new? also check for leaks if you changed out the prop valve. i used the white powder spray to check for any leaks.
