Default Stupid Honda Dealer

My transmission in my civic went out, and I took it to the dealer to have it fixed under warantee. It has been there for over 2 weeks and they say they haven't even gotten the transmission yet. So my car is just sitting there. I have been without transportation for over 2 weeks. I was just wondering if anyone else has had a problem like this with the dealer around them. If so, what did you do about it if anything?

at least they are willing to fix it for you....

when i was at 24k miles on my 00 ex my 2nd gear took a dump on me and they said i was on my own cause i had i/h/e, it was teh gay but i found another for 150 and swapped it in myself with a friend, it was a good learning experience. I'm actually on my 3rd tranny and 2nd clutch right now, but oh well

Complain to the manager... and fill out one of those "customer satisfaction" cards. Unfortunatly... company's like that don't usually give a damn about younger customers.. but I'd complain if I were you. You shouldn't have to wait that long at ALL.

Default 2 dealer incidents....

Had my exhaust manifold repaired under warranty at Henley Honda in Canada. They broke my O2 sensor while fixing it and told me that I had to pay to replace it. A simple complaint to Honda Canada solved that problem.

2nd time I was getting new tires on my Type R rims they chipped the shit out of them and said they were like that when they got them. Again cakked up Honda Canada, a week later I had 4 brand new Gunmetal R rims....

I love complaining......
