I have the DC Sports short shifter and Neuspeed urethane shifter bushings. I highly recommend both.

I'm planning on getting a Skunk dual bend as well, I drove a civic that had one and was really impressed with the way it felt.
I've heard a few ppl saw not to get a short shifter because (according to them) it's bad for the shift forks, etc? Anyone else heard this or is it BS?

Thanks.

only ppl that thinks a ss is bad is those riceboys who buy em and rip thru each gear as fast as they can, resultin in blowin out their tranny. its only a short shifter cuz the distance from each gear is short. ur synchros still has to work. get the skunk2 and some poly bushings and ur good to go.

im runnin a gsr stock shifter in my b16 Si with poly bushings, the shifts r positive and short compare to my stock civic one.

i also got to drive my friends 00 civic coupe with the skunk2 dual bend, poly bushings and the weighted skunk2 knob, very easy to shift due to the knobs weight and shifts r very smooth.

Skunk2 is great and pricey, $100 (i got it) but if price is an issue you can DC short shifter kit with sports bushings and all for $50

Not pricey when you have a sponsor

Well I guess you have your answer to your question. Since almost everybody in here has Skunk2 Dual Bent short shifter, and some has the Knob that comes with it, and some are talking about bushings, therefore you should get all three of 'em for a great feel.
