My findings were that B&M (they've been around many years specializing in shifters) have noisy SS's.

The Skunk2 has positive reviews from all over.

 

so the skunk2 ss doesn't rattle at all???

 

what's a noisy short shifter? are we talking like fast & furious shifting the noise it makes in the movie???

 

Just installed my Skank2 Dual bend. For 92-00 Civic's and 94-01' Integra's. Very nice quality. Pretty impressed with it. No rattle what so ever. Throws are precise and much shorter.

Ironically, someone at the shop also was working on his shifter... apparantly, he had one of those CHEAP no name brand aluminum shifters. So when he was shifting from 2nd to 3rd, he almost punched himself because the shifter snapped and the knob flew off.

"Noise" as in the shifter rattles.

 

I got a DC sport SS with ES black bushing nice and tight shifts i love it. But i might go with Skunk2 later on.

how much shorter is the skunk and DC shifters than the factory shifter
