Traction. Better tires, launching at lower rpms will help (like 3k). If you drag a lot look into getting some drag radials.

that was launching at 3k but yeah i think i need different tires and i would be runnin alot better

60 foot times are a little high, get them down to at least a 2.3

yeah i spin at the start and then when i shift into second i spin alittle again...thinkin that i need better tires and i'll be fine

god you need to learn how to launch....


even a 2.3 is unacceptable. I was pulling 2.2X's back in the day on street tires. Hell i pulled a 2.1X on some 165/65/14 stock tires/wheels the other day.

The key is to lower your front tire pressure before you run. I suggest going about 22 psi and keep letting air out as they heat up. Also do a nice quick burnout before the run to heat up the tires a bit it helps a lot.

yeah i never tryed that i always keep what i got so i'll try and see what happens...and how do you launch good off the start??
