The "pep boys" ones are most likely either VentVisor or GTS brand, both of which suck IMHO. They use double-sided tape and are too dark (makes your blind spot HUGE).

McNiel Industries makes a version called WeatherTech, these have a flange that fits inside the window channel, and do not require tape. You can put them in or take them out at any time. 4-door sets usually run about $70-$80, about $45 for a 2-door set. I will eventually get a set for my Integra, so the interior doesn't bake in the summer time.

do they have a website? (weatherTech)... i think i checked out one of them and their four door sets are only for the front doors...

**edit**

just checked...same site i went to long time ago. and yes...only the front set for the 92-95 sedan

Well I don't know about Civics, but on my old Camry, the window deflectors on the rear doors didn't really do anything, they were just there for looks. The windows in the rear doors had an opening both at the top and along the trailing edge if you opened them partway, so the deflectors over the top of the window didn't really do much. I'm not sure if Civics are the same way or not.

yeah..same with the civic sedan. the rears crack open along the side too...but only if you open them wide open.

Not to be a prick, but they make your car look cheap to me. Not as bad as that chrome lining **** But they just aren't worth it. My boy had him on his car and the driver side flew off on the highway. It was pretty funny though

thats b/c he bought the cheapo ones that look cheap and bolt on by double sided tape.

you should see the Hondas from Japan...some models come stock with them and they are pretty low profile where you dont notice them.

Still make your ride look cheap, I think. Plus they scratch the paint over time and wear differently, so when you take them off you got two different colors.

not if you get those WeatherTech ones that fit inside the window channel. I really don't care how it makes my ride look, I'm going to get them because they serve their purpose. If I want to take them off for a show or to take pics of my car or whatever, it's not big deal because you just slip them out of the window channel. I actually had the VentShade brand on my old car (stuck on w/ tape) for about 4 years and they never once came unstuck or flew off.
