Yeah.. I deffinatly would... I drove through an unavoidable puddle.. and I swear the thing saved my engine. But... deffinatly make sure the CAI is installed well... I ripped up my last AIV because the bolt of the intake wasn't in tight enough.

Also, the bypass obstructs the flow of air so you lose little horsepower of the little horsepower you were to gain.

I'd spend $50 on an eBay CAI and paint it whatever color I wish.
Not really... I actually resent that cause I wasn't careless at all. It was POORING rain and I hit a HUGE puddle cause the drainage here sucks and the streets weren't lit up. Hit it at 30 mph and the motor stopped dead....

If I'd have had the bypass, I wouldn't have blown it.

Up to you man. If you want to run CAI, figure out what your price is for piece of mind.

I personally think it's a waste.. but if you're paranoid about getting flooded then by all means go for it.

don't waste your money the inner lining of your wheel well will block mostly all the water, and they dont work unless the filter is totally submerged. id only suggest it if you removed the lining

I still have those pics too.. they're at home though.

I'll post them and then you can decide if it's worth it or not.
