i think that as long as you dont go below 2 inches you wont need a camber kit. thats what i hear on here. I am sure other people will help ya out with this question though

well, its all up to the person and the setup. if u go no more than 1.5" like the eibach pro-kit, then u dont need one. But if u go on low coilovers of race springs like neuspeed ones then u do "need" a camber kit to correct the negative camber. I would strongly advise getting a camber kit if u go lower than 1.5-1.75 due to quick tire wear and off alignment. Also looks a lot more professional if your tires arent noticeably slanting inwards.

having the toe in/out corrected will solve a lot of tire wear...unless u are dropped 2.5-3 inches camber will be a problem too

even lowered a little bit (like eibach pro kit), your tires will still wear faster, but with a 4wheel alignment, it should be tolerable. Pretty much any lowering in ride hight will change your camber a little.

1.5-1.7 drops should be tolerable in terms of camber after alignment

the toe in/out should be the thing to worry about which an alignment will fix.

My past lowering was 1.8" Neuspeed Sports, 3" drop Skunkworks coilovers, 1" drop Eibach springs, and now 2" drop with Ground Control coilovers.

All my setups (excluding the Skunkworks - since I didn't have the car very long) all had great tire wear. The key is proper toe. I run 0 degrees toe front and rear (which gets the car to rotate better anyway), and keeping an eye on the tread.

This year with my 2" drop I've done 2 track days, 12 autocrosses, 40 laps at Carlisle Custom Compact Jam, and 5000 miles and I have lots of tread left on my soft soft Falken Azenis. Whom people say that the tires wear down so fast!

After you lower your car, you should always get an alignment, and from there you'll get your camber readings anyway. I agree that toe is more important, and keep up on your tire rotations.
