we never put the weight on the scale, but once we took all that weight out from the a/c, it was really heavy! You have to think, you have an a/c fan as well. Also, hell yes the weather in florida is tremendously hott. Only some models have that dampening material. Usually the top end models have them like si and sort. The low models like dx, vx, cx, etc.. dont have that deadening material except under the driver and passenger feet area.

the SI has lower insulation. EX and LX have more.

all i have is rug and i dont have anything under that but i think the prev. owner took it off b/c the clips that is connected to the rug is fawked up and it wont stay in the door jams

mmr is just a distributor, you should find out who the actual manufacturer is. mmr has a bunch of sh!t, but they also carry a bunch of high quality products. Its worth looking into.
