vtecfed...yup it certainly is a 1.5...so that's the problem? hmmm okay...an small upgrade solutions....
how is this engine in general..btw? is it okay? reliable? crappy?

its made for fuel efficiency. meaning not having any form of performance in mind.

hey man just kiddin I got a 1.5 right now too. And after 4k it pulls but I only go that high when I'm pulling into traffic. Just do an engine swap. Its your best bet, but thats just me.

If it's EXTREMELY bad, your timing belt may have slipped a tooth...

Your clutch is most likely slipping (had the same experience on an old CRX). You may want to check and see if it needs to be replaced.

shing...I don't know about the clutch?....i kinda know what it feels when it's slipping, had to change it on my last car (91 eagle talon tsi fwd...mmmmm god did i love that car!!!!). but than again it had the turbo which helped out the cluch so maybe that's what it can be..hmm but my car only has 130k km on the dash! for a 9 year old car it ain't too bad..maybe vtec was right, it's just the 1.5L..hmm..
