The wings in production today at any shop are made for down force. The one i'm talking about makes no down force. Flat wing.

If you make a wing that can decrease the ¼ mile time by .5 sec, that's a very good wing.

first, its a site.

second, I've been around this site for more than 8 months. I've been a member of HondaSociety for almost 4 years now, and I was posting in the Accord forum on this site since late '00.

you know what happens when you assume, right?

I'm an asshole but i know my shat.
ok, you must know, since you think you can shave seconds off with a fucking wing.

maybe you've been around the strip more than me, but I'm not the dumbass who thinks a wing will help my times. I don't even care about being the fastest civic out there. I'm happy with the shit I've got.

With the same designed wing you will get the same results. The only thing to effect this is surface area. Not being a dick, just asked if the was a production piece.
Functional drag wings such as the one posted are not production pieces (with the key word being functional). You obviously have more drag-racing experience than 90% of the people on this site, but 3 seconds off your 1/4 mile time is a bit optimistic.

Most functional aero-pieces commercially available for Honda/Acuras are in the realm of front splitter/rear-diffuser for the road race crowd, and are almost always imported from JDM land. Your best bet is to fabricate a trunk piece yourself; although I'm certain reputable shops will make a custom unit for you.

Just so people stop beating a dead horse, a flat trunk "drag" wing is completely different than a wing designed to produce DOWNFORCE (think Mugen wing). Downforce reduces straight-line speed, and is purely used for traction/stability issues.

I've been here for 8 months, not talking about you. I'm not even building a drag car. I just love watching you guys jump on someones bandwagon to bash or put someone down for a decent idea. There are some guys on here that know some shit(oc, westcoast, asiandood, CivicSIRacer). I don't know it all, BUT I DON'T BASH. Westcoast did bash, but when i explained the fact for eveyrday life, he accepted it. There is always doubt. We COOL.

That will not help your et at all. You can get a flush mount wing from black widow and that's all I would reccomend.

Still toadolson. Using a friend comp under is sign.

[sarcasm] i guess when you are such an accomplished racer as yourself.. you can easily build a car that does it all with a stock single cam and NO forced induction.. you are truly the king of racing man [/sarcasm]
