You seem to know your stuff man and I'm not going to knock that, but you show me a HONDA/ACURA that gains that much from a wing and I'll gladly insert my foot into my mouth, but I just don't see it happening. .6 is streaching believable, but I guess it could happen - 3 seconds.. no way.

 

Point taken. To me 3 second was alittle unreal, but i just watched this. I said 1-2 seconds. Gain is Gain on any car. A 13 second monte carlo V8 or a 13 second 1.6 civic ex. With the same designed wing you will get the same results. The only thing to effect this is surface area. Not being a dick, just asked if the was a production piece.

 

when i first starting reading this thread i started raising the BS flag immediately, but it seems like this guy knows what he's talking about.

i want to see proof about these wings. besides, if these wings didn't do anything significant why would they be used in the first place??

i think everyone on this board automatically has a bias against these wings cuz we see 19 second civics w/ them, but we should put the bias aside and not flame b4 we have reason to
