Default alright, ill take your advice

alright, after a lot of negative feed back about hte borbet type s rims ive decided not to get them, although im still looking for rims, im running on a somewhat tight budget so keep that in mind. but if anyone lives in new york and is willing to sell me rims w/ tires that look nice on a black honda civic ex tell me. you can im me on aim at aLLiSteR 018 if you want to.

ps the reason that im so interested in other people's opinions is because i see a lot of cars around here that have certain rims. or wings, or mufflers etc that the driver may like, but all it gets them is a reputation for having a stupid looking car, and id rather not be the guy that everyone makes fun of.

im lookin for anything low as possible, i was going to buy rims for 200 with tires, as in 50 bucks a piece, so if you could beat that it would be amazing, even though its almost impossible, but as low as possible, id rather not go over 400 if at all possible. and im looking for 15s or 16s, i have 15's on my car with a hubcap that came stock, so maybe i could jsut get 15s and no tires, i dunno.

Wow, 400 for wheels and tires. That's gonna be a little difficult to pull off. If you really want to stay within the budget, then I would recommend getting a set of 15's. CashisEG8 is selling a set of [any] Rota wheels in 15's for a really good price right now. Then just use your exisiting tires and just mate that with your new wheels.

The other alternative is to find someone either selling Si wheels or GSR wheels. Those would also be 15's but it's better than rolling on steelies and caps. This should be in the 400 dollar range.

Other than that, unless you could save up a little more, those are basically your options.

Yeah I can get you a set of 15" wheels with GOOD falken tires (not no cheapie Kumho's) for about $625 shipped.

I've always beleived that tires are a good investment

discount tire finances for 6 months no intrest.

thats how I payed for my el cheapo 16's, but they still ran $995 total rims/tires/flat repair/4 blowout replacements/free rotating and balancing/etc.

Why buy something if it's the worst thing you can find? What happened to spending money wisely? :dunno:
