How u remove back seat?
93 honda civic sedan-
Just wonderin whats the trick to gettin the back seat out?
Im gonna run some wires straight back to the amp in the trunk, but the back seat has no obvious screws. Any tips?
It seems some loop is holding the front side of the bottom back seat part, but i cant find how to release the loop

The bottom of the back seat has a forward facing loop of wire. You may be able to push it far enough back without taking the upper back seat off. On my 99 it's easier if you pop out the side plastic pieces to get it out.

we took the back seat out of my 95 sedan and if i remember correctly, you have to fold down the back of the seat first, take that out, and then you can get to the screws for the bottom part of the seat.
we did it for the same reason... running amp and cd changer wires. i'll check with those who helped me do the install, but i'm pretty sure that's how we did it.

no... where the lower and upper seats meet, just off to the right from center, there's a 10mm bolt that you remove. When you've gotten that out, the back of the lower rear seat pulls up and forward. Be careful though, where you removed that bolt is a metal tab that juts out. Don't get it caught on the upper rear seat cause you could rip it.
Once you have the lower rear seat this far, it's easy to figure out.

there's easier ways to get that wire back there.
go along the side, fold down the seats, run the wire through the seatbelt, then under the hinge of the seat back. Push the wire out of site, and you're done.

or you could pull out the wire that's already going there (like to the rear seats....make sure you attach a rope or something to it so you can get it back) and then just attach the new wire to the old wire, pull the rope and get the wire back to the back. should work in theory atleast, right?
