carbon fiber hood
i'm looking to buy a carbon fiber hood for my 98 Civic.. i'm guessing Fiber Images or VIS are the way to go, rite? any other good affordable companies? where can i get some good prices on these hoods? thank you

based on what? if u slam it, most likely any cf hood will crack. i have look at both cf hoods and say both r very good in craftsmanship. i seen the more recent VIS hoods and they have rolled edges and have a nice weave to em. the FI hoods r also nice but sometimes highly overpriced. shop around and a few members here have had both. ask cruial v2.2, he has the VIS one.

BOTH cracked while being shipped so they had to ship out new ones
my friends came in last month and it cracked when he closed it on the inside near the latch and outside above the latch area and near the headlights
mine still hasnt come in yet but ill let u know if it cracks but based on what i have seen VIS hoods crack EASILY
my friend has a FIBERIMAGES cf hood on his daily driven prelude and it hasnt cracked yet since he got it a year ago
