I also have a VIS CF hood on my car. Mine hasn't cracked either. I'm not gonna say that it's flawless either, but I don't have any complaints with what I got. For what I paid for it, I thought it was a steal...
New to the whole carbon thing. At the local rice shop, they had a hood with real fine braided fibers, not the big or normal fiber you see everyday. Would this be stronger due to more overlaps of the fibers or cause more problems. Looked real good for a fiber hood.
