this is a little late in the thread, but why all of the sudden are b16a's so "gay"....seems like these days unless you have a 20psi boosted b20vtec your car is gay. Maybe some people like the appeal of the b16a because they arent loaded and they are looking for a nice upgrade that will change their car characteristics. just my two cents but I am sick of people bashing engines...its and engine for petes sake. any honda engine can be made sweet end of story.
nice, dude. we're looking for that exact car for my gf! either a 5th or 6th gen civic coupe. (I have a prelude motor for it, so it really doesn't matter what trim). but as for the previous statements, it's definately rad having a girl that knows her shit about cars (even though I taught it to her). it's awesome, and that's all there is to it. sounds like your girl's coupe will come along pretty well, though! be sure to keep your pics updated!
