Default wheel question

I know that this has been brought up before on this weboard but I was not realy able to find the answer I was looking for. Who knows maybe i was looking in the wrong place.
I found some 17's that weigh the same amount as my stock steelies. Is it the weight or the rolling resistance that will effect me more. I figure that with them being the same weight and all the handling benifits will out weigh the slight (if any) hp loss. What do you guys think?

p.s they are Rs limited concept pro's

lmao...i have the exact same wheels on mine...they are actually LIGHTER than stock....took away 6mph in the QM, and killed .7 seconds! its the unsprung weight that makes the difference...the weight is further from the center of the wheel, so it takes more torque to move them...basically, the weight has more leverage on the axle, so less snap. if you go racing, just put the steelies back on the front and you are game. nice choice in wheels tho

Thanks for the great info. I am gonna see if they have the 16 in stock but if not then i am gonna get the 17's . Its answers like yours that are the reason i always come back to this web board. By the way will i have any issues with the tires rubbing against the fender well?

my car isnt lowered yet, but from all i've read here with people with the exact same size/offset, they have no trouble unless there's excessive drop(more than 2")
