i have absolutly no idea. i think you need 4qts but im not sure...i would look it up in my civic manual but i dont have one. im just going to use honda MTF for my tranny....cant go wrong with that.

no, thats a great price (where did you find it btw... i'd like to try some)... I'm not sure how much you need... but 4 qt's sounds like way too much (i think my engine takes that much oil). Might say how much you need in a service manual... if not, just call up the local honda dealer. I'm sure they could tell you.

 

capacities are listed in the back of my owners manual, i just aint had time to look yet. i do need a helms though, youre right there.

 

Depending on where you take was the key phrase in that. Quoting Honda's price to rebuild the tranny it would be about 8. You take it somewhere else, sure 3 bills.... sorry I wasn't so specific, next time I'll be sure to be EXACT! And not leave anything out!!!:fawk:

depending on nothing i wouldnt get my god damn tranny rebuilt for 8 bills i would just do a swap for that price and get a bigger engine w/ that much money.

 

Change your fluid, and run 2qtsHonda ATF and 1/2qt Honda MTF. Should do the trick until you change out the syncros
