There is not a snowballs chance hell that you can hit mid 14's with 5.5 psi on that tiny snail in your overweight hatch. OKAY OKAY, you can hit mid 14's on slicks. It's better to underestimate than to over estimate. First time I wen to the track, I said I would be happy with a 15.5, ended up giving up after hitting 15.2. I beat my goal, made me happy. I knew it would run a hell of alot faster than 15.5, but I didn't want to go home disappointed, so I set a low goal.

well...his hatch may be overweight but it can't be worse than my 2516 pound coupe+leather interior. I was averaging about 9.4-9.5 in the 1/8 on 6 psi intercooled which is about 14.7. When i went to the 1/4 i ran a 9.1 1/8th which ended up in a 14.1 run but that was on 8 psi intercooled which is a HUGE difference from 5.5. My guess is that his best is going to be a 15 flat on 5.5 if he can keep his 60 foot under a 2.3

That's a huge difference between his car and yours. He's 5.5 psi non-intercooled. You're 8 psi intercooled. You're 2516 pounds, he's not too far off at 2390 pounds. Either way, we are in agreeance, there is no way he'll hit 14.5 on the setup he has now.

My wifes' hatch weighs 2250 w/ half tank. She has no a/c though. I think 14's are definitely possible if his clutch will hold.

sorry ive been banned...so i couldnt respond..so here is my respond.

im sure i can hit mid 15s when i change out my clutch some time this month or so.

my hatch must weigh in around 2200lbs. im pretty gutted out and have c/f hood and shit.

im pretty sure i can hit a 2.3 or under..since on my old crappy clutch i ran a 2.41.

we will have to wait and see...im going around to see if i can find a place to redue my sycros. woot
