Well, I'm lookin' at getting a 99 Civic EX here pretty soon (hopefully finalize the deal within the week! ) and I just had sort of an odd question...

SOHC VTEC, right? But there isn't a different cover on the block or anything... it looks almost exactly like my 96 LX non-VTEC does...

Just makin' sure it's a VTEC, really... I thought it was kind of strange that it didn't have a different label on it or anything.

 

6th gen's don't say vtec on teh valve cover

 

Haha. Maybe that would explain it, eh? I told ya it was a stupid question!

 

you just need to make sure the vtec solenoid is there
