Default :( Airbag

OK, call me paranoid, but I hate driving around knowing there is an explosive air bag in my steering wheel. Anyone know How one might go about replacing the steering wheel? I know of the "legal" aspects, but would still like to put another type of wheel.

I considder myself a good driver, but from time to time i like to be a crazy driver, if I hit a trash can or small animal at 30mph, i dont want no damn bag explodin in my face. of course i will need body work, but not facial work.

i was told that wont prevent it from going off, and in some cases may cause a malfunction in the SRS

besides, i'd like a new steering wheel

You don't have cruise control do you? If you do, where would you relocate it?

Most likely... that's what it's there for... to protect you if you hit anything substantial at a certain velocity...
