Funny thing is, I saw my friend today who's tails we painted over a year ago. He goes to UCD so the sun is blasting there. I saw that his tails are slightly faded now so I shall strongly recommend clearcoat from now on :thumbup:
alright guys,..i did it last night,...and to tell the truth i didnt think it would come out as good as it did,...i am happy with the results and so is my friend,...if some one would be nice enough to host a couple pictures for me i can post them up in this thread,...if someone wants a how to i can type one up also,...i should be doing another set soon so i will take pictures of each step,...i wasnt thinking this time and only took pictures of the finished product

whenever you paint anything you never have to sand between coats. for proper adhesion you apply coats within intervals when the bottom coat is still wet but tacky. sanding between coats is only needed if the paint has junk in it, i.e. spits,orange peel or high spots.
i should know, i paint cars, bikes, valve covers, rims, body kits, tails...etc.
