Default support beam!! pics

Anyone have pictures of their support beams? (the beam that holds up the foam behind the front bumper)

I spent 3-4 hours isntalling my fog lights today (most of the time was spent cutting the bumper w/ weaksauce tools).. but after I finished I was putting the bumper back on my car and the support beam was impeading the placement of the fogs (the back of the fogs couldn't go into the beam).. I know the beam is important, so I'm going to probably have it modified to fit the fogs (cut the area around the fog lights out)

My car got in a front end accident before, so this might be why.. anyone have pics of their beams? Is it THAT important? I was thinking its only important to #1 protect in low-speed accidents.. and #2 prevent your bumper from sagging? Either way I'm going to keep it.. just wondering. Thanks!

Couldn't you just install the fogs onto the bumper, after you reinstalled the bumper back onto the car?

I wish I could. I have the OEM style (92-95 civic coupe) fog lights, so they come from the inside. I have no idea why its having trouble with the support beam... I might have a different one (thats why I'm asking)

Do you have the Depo fog lights? I don't really see how the fogs would interfere the installation of the bumper unless the bracket that holds the fogs onto the bumper was too high or that the wiring or something was in the way.
