You could also check the Turbo D16 Forum: For Sale section. They have used kits for sale with everything you need. http://turbod16.no-ip.com

Honda made all there motors NA. So i would stick to that. Do a swap and build all motor. If you have enough money to do a swap and turbo why the hell do you have a CIVIC

why people put thousands of dollars into a car and it runs just as fast as a stock supra or rx7 with simple bolt ons i will never know.

I'm an all-motor junkie. Love building car with no real after market but internals and surprising people. Thats me. To each his own.

What makes you think building a high compression, high power version of a motor would be any different than putting a turbo on it? They both put stress on a motor that wasn't made for it.

When you boost a motor without doing internals, to me thats dumd. Stock gaskets, piston and rings, valves, seats, guides, springs with a turbo is asking for trouble.

If you build a all-motor, I would do it right.
Engine:
Steel crank, Aluminum rods, Aluminum pistons.
Head:
Titanum valves, Matched spring to the cam, Titanum guides and seats, port and polish
If it is balanced and blue printed properly, this will produce as much power as a turbo without all the troubles. But what do i care, i'm an autocrosser. Grew out of drag racing 7 years ago.

Well, that's what people used to think about the Supra's and running high levels of boost on stock internals. The D16 is very capable of handling un-thought-of boost levels, like up to 16psi on the stock internals. I would definitely get a thicker head gasket, but I know people who run this level of boost and survive just with the head gasket.

:werd:

ntm that you can buy a greddy kit for like $2k and throw it on in a day to pull 14s that night. h:

With N/A, it's a fine-tuned process that could take years to perfect and a whole lot of green.

I've built and now I'm turboing. mmmmm boost.
