96-98 tails if the amber in the headlights is there, 99-00 tails if there is no amber :doh:

I figured since the thread was on tails, that would be given.

and yes, I am high :fawk:

but continuity is important with lights. Otherwise, it looks odd/unbalanced, IMO.

like on my car, I have no amber reflector strip in the front, and red/clears in back. Its even and it flows. amber in the front or back would look out of place to someone artisticlly inclined

i have these headlights.....

its not that great of a pic of them...but u get the idea...sorry i dont have any actual pics of my car...they're all at my boyfriends house....i'll get them on here tonight so u all can see this NOOB'S car
i like my RICER taillights now, but the main reason is b.c theres only one other civic around my area that has the same lights....theyre different! but they are getting old, and im leaning more towards the 99-00's for the simple fact that they'll be cheaper! ha!

eh, im not a fan of your current head or tail lights.. but thats your call. i'd say get the red/clears (i got mine from a 99 ex) and take your stock headlights and do something with them. gunmetal/black housing. DIY headlights own. or if you can afford it get some real CTR lights. i know the ones you have are black housing but i dont like the ion lens. its up to you tho. :thumbup:

 

the headlights stay! illegal or not! lol...i love them! i've gotten so many compliments on them...and i think they give my car a slight girly look. and the ones i have arent black housing, theyre chrome...the ones in the pic are black though...but it was the only pic i could find....

i started this thread to ask a simple question about taillights....and i knew not too many people would agree w/ my rice tail lights...but the sarcastic remarks can stop. i got the idea...!!
