did the CX ek have a gas light? i swaped in a cluster from a ex a week ago and noticed yesterday taht my gas light never came on. i took it out to see if the bulb was out and it's ok. so i got my old cluster out and it doesn't have a bulb for a gas light. so did the cx just not come with that feature?

i swapped in an EX cluster in my 96 DX, and the gas light never comes on, but the bulb is there. For some people, it works, some it doesn't. I think honda f'd up with the gas light some how.

 

I don't think the 92-95 CX and DX came with a gas light. Honda deemed it "unnecessary," along with the tachometer.

Cars that have the gas light also have an extra wiring tunning to the fuel pump. Your cx doesn't have that wiring.

Marc Paco has a website that shows how to wire up the gas light on jdm sir2 clusters. you can probably follow those directions to wire up the gas light on your cx.
