Vtec controller??
I am pretty sure I want to get a vtec controller for my car but I'm not sure what brand or really what i should get. No experience with vtec here so any help would be great. And yes I did do a quick search and found nothing about brands just settings
Thanks,
Kellen

Get a spoon Vtec coontroller!!!! Its really cool. My friend has it in his D16Z civic. it works only if you get a dyno to set it correctly. It kicks in at 3rd and burns like hell.

BOOM goes the dynamite!
either way, that's pretty messed up. 3k is way too low for vtec to be kicking in.
i personally don't see a need for a controller. honda does a pretty good job of setting the changover point where it should be. unless you've done some major work to your engine, spend your money on something else first.

Don't go with a vtec controller. Ya you will get those few high end horses. But you loose all your low end and middle range power. I wouldn't recommend it unless you have new more aggressive cam ex. todo. I will most likely make you slower

I have the Apex'i V-AFC on my car. I have my VTEC come in at 5,000RPM and go off at 4,000RPM. It actually helps a lot, but I do have a ZEX cam in my car, so the movement of the VTEC crossover and the ability to modify my fuel map for my cam is a big help.
