try cleaning the IAC valve (backside of the intake manifold, right next to the tb.) its gets clogged with soot. dont forget to try the idle adjust screw and double check ur ignition timing

hey, thanks for all the advice, i've already messed with the idle screw, it sorta helped...now it just stalls once in a while. as for the codes, i'm not getting any CEL. i'm gonna do new plugs, wires, and pcv this weekend. hope it works.

whats the IAC valve?

this o2 sensor suggestion keeps on coming up... for me at least. bad gas mileage and my car, d16z6 auto, idles sometimes extremely low (400rpm) so the car is shakin... sometimes i'll start it and it'll immediately stall out cuz it'll start to idle too low... hopefully i'm makin sense.

when you're idling, is the 02 sensor controlling the a/f mixture? I never got a definiate answer when its closed loop and when its open loop... so my mileage is compromised...

might wanna check your timing thats what was wrong with mine, after my cam was installed the timing was set at 22 degrees BTDC my car was idling at like 200, but when i figured it out i advanced back to 16 like i had it before now it idle how its supposed to at 800.

well i toyed with my idle and that seemed to help. when i pulled my spark plugs they were so carboned up i can't believe that they were still working. i'm running waaaay too rich. a buddy of mines dad said that my air sensor is going bad but we couldn't find where it was...anyone here point it out to me? and about how much it'll cost? for a jdm b16a2?
