i wanted mine blood red so i made my own, i bought a pair of clear lights and sprayed them with a transparent color spray.

i had painted tails once.. very ghetto imo.. i'da spent the 75 bucks on outer red/clear pieces from autodynamic.com..

maybe you did it wrong or used the wrong paint, im the only one here in hawaii using this paint and i dont intend on telling people what brand it is but alot of people have been asking me where i got the tails from cause they like the blood red look. i have to get better pics of the after cause its so transparent that the reflectors work like it was stock.

 

Aren't the reflectors supposed to show?

 

not if you paint them wrong or use the wrong paint or if you use that red tint on it

 

reason why i painted them in the first place was because someone sold me some outer clear tails for only 20 bux but i wanted red and clears so i painted them.
